Basic
Non-working day rules allow to handle repeatings that falls on specific days. With rules recurrence instances can be re-scheduled before, after or just skip given instance.

After installation there is one default calendar without non-working days available. |
Add non-working day
Go to Jira Administration > System > Issues > Repeating Issue > Non

- Click Edit button for default calendar or More > Add calendar menu button.
- On the calendar dialog fill form parameters and click Add rule button. You can define many non-working days by filling form in the last row.
- After defining all non-working days for given calendar click Save button
- Rules will be visible in Non-working days screen
Non-working day re-schedule types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Never (skip day) | occurrence of repeating that should fall on given day will never happen |
| X days before | occurrence of repeating that should fall on given day will be scheduled x days before given day |
| X days after | occurrence of repeating that should fall on given day will be scheduled x days after given day |
