Managing permissions
Permissions basics
By default, all users with Jira Create Issues and Edit Issues permissions can view summary of the repeating and manage its details on any issue.
Project administrators can limit the users who can edit or view repeating each project separately by enabling app permissions in given project. After first enabling app permissions in project none of Jira user can manage repeated tasks on issues and there is need to give proper permission to desired users and/or groups through Jira project permissions. The Repeating Issues app provides following project permissions that can be granted:
Permission | Description |
---|---|
View repeating | User with that permission can view summary of the repeating on any issue in given project. |
Edit repeating | User with that permission can create/edit details of the repeating and view its summary on any issue in given project. |
Enable permissions in project
App permissions can be enabled for each project separately. Please go to Project Settings → Repeating Issues (or Project Settings → Apps → Repeating Issues in some type of projects), toggle the Enable app permissions and save settings.
