Exporting issue searches & JQL queries to SmartQL

Each your search from Jira can be exported to further processing to SmartQL console. This can be either basic search, advanced or filter. To begin with, go to your filter or make the search for issues from Jira→Issues menu. Then choose from the menu Export → Covert to SmartQL.

You will be redirected to SmartQl console. The SQL query area will be already filled with query which would be your the result of conversion. The result of the mentioned query will be computed and presented.

When searching from Jira Issue Navigator you can choose appropriate for you columns. They will be preserved during exporting to SmartQL. The result of SQL query will have the same columns.

Conversion for your issue searches to SmartQL is being done with use of Function JQL


From this point you will be able to customize the query:

  • Join with views available in SmartQL.
  • Add aggregation functions, summaries and counts.
  • Add, remove columns or convert them.
