Using Tableau with ODATA

  1. Choose from menu Smart QL → Export data.

     

  2. You will be presented a popup. Copy connection URL from the popup from ODATA section.

     

  3. Launch Tableau Desktop. Choose Connect → OData.

     

  4. Fill the URL field with copied value from Jira and press OK. For Authentication choose Username and Password. Select Sign In.

     

  5. Tableau will load the data from Jira. You can now use Tableau as usual.
